Happy Easter Everyone!

Have a fun weekend egg hunting and being with families!

Some bunnies posed for their Easter photos, sure to go in their journals.

Life cycles Unit

We had a wonderful time learning about life cycles of ladybugs, praying mantis , butterflies and even a water dog (salamander ).

it was fun to let the ladybugs go in the MQueen garden!
The children loved this unit and hands on science is always popular.  We began sprouting our seeds and several went home with sprouts and roots starting to show.
The special project was fun with our initials, and the children painted over two hundred pieces for the project.  cute enough to hang in their rooms!

Top Secret Project

We are making a fun project for our rooms at home.  We have to paint a gazillion puzzle pieces, but no one seems to mind!
It was definitely "M" week and we're busy with gluing macaroni (don't you remember being in school and always gluing macaroni?)  My mom still has the ugly ornament on her Christmas tree!
We read the book Mouse Paint and used the same colors on our palette that the mice did in the book.
We learned how colors can be mixed to make new ones!
We are starting our Life Cycle class this week with
Caterpillars/Butterflies and Ladybugs, too!
